Cam picture description: Currently I have my cam aimed at the Adirondack Mountains.  I use a telephoto lens, so the pine trees in the front of the pic are 60 feet from the cam, the far side of the road is over 100 feet, then it's open meadow.. The first brush trees past the meadow are around 350 yards away, the tree stand in the middle of the pic about 450 yards away, the start of the second meadow in the pic is over 600 yards away, the trees past the second meadow are over 800 yards away and on days it's clear, the horizon is the Adirondack Mountains.  My best guess is Tupper Lake or maybe Saranac Lake 60+ miles away as the crow flies.  I hope you find this description helpful in judging distance of visibility on any given day.
